Good news: I have a podcast!
Bad news: This newsletter is on indefinite hiatus
So I know it’s been a few months since you’ve heard from me. The reason is that I helped launch and now co-host a podcast from Daily Kos Elections called The Downballot.
(If you’re already listening, you can skip this paragraph) The Downballot is a weekly podcast dedicated to the many elections that take place below the presidency from Senate to city council. It covers many of the issues I was writing about here, but in audio form and with a ton of great guests. And if you prefer the written word, we have same-day transcripts you can read. So please subscribe wherever you listen to podcasts; if you enjoyed this newsletter I promise you won’t be disappointed.
As for this newsletter, I toyed around with tying it into the podcast in some way, either sending out the transcript or a summery, or some thoughts on the episode we didn’t get to. But the reality is that a full-time job and a weekly podcast is right about my maximum workload. And sending out things already available on Daily Kos seemed superfluous.
So the newsletter is on indefinite hiatus. I may write something up here and there when inspiration strikes but there won’t be any regular content for the foreseeable future. The best places to find me going forward are by subscribing to The Downballot and following me on twitter.
Thanks for reading!
